Surprisingly big and historic botanical garden! It allows free access and operates purely on donations. Kudos to the non-profit who are maintaining such an amazing facility. The gift shop is cute, knowledgeable and very well organized! The classy bathrooms deserves a special mention!

An amazing spot for photography! We had a wonderful time taking pictures, and there were very few people around, making it easy to enjoy the scenery.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Knoxville, Tennessee. Such a beautiful place with something new around every corner. They do have some relatively new gardens with a fresh feel. My favorite part was probably the bamboo forest πβοΈ

My daughter and I spent a Sunday morning here while visiting the city. Although some of the trees and Spring flowers had yet to bloom, we found beauty and peace all around the park. We were able to find several nice places to take pictures and I loved that you could see the mountains from the blue beach chairs. We would definitely come back if we were in the area again!

Went in winter. I can see that it would be a very nice place to explore in the summer but not much there in the winter. But my dog and I had a nice walk. Best parts were the bamboo forest and view from the blue chairs. Small parking lot at the top of the hill.
